Preschoolers came to the library for the first time last week. I read I Took My Frog to the Library and we played some following direction games (Simon Says and sang the Hokey Pokey song) to reinforce good listening skills. They were fantastic! I'm loving this group of 4 year-olds. They are kind, well-mannered, and super smart, too!
After story time, they had a choice to either color a frog picture or read to a friend. Look at these fantastic reading choices and their friends:
I know this is blurry, but I thought it was so sweet when one student took Clifford with her to help pick out a book.
Others thought it was a great idea, too! Soon, Clifford was helping lots of students choose fun books to read.
And, here's my coloring champion for the day. This student was also in our 3-year old program. She always takes her time and makes her coloring pages vibrant with rich, dark colors.
